We at TMS, believe in going beyond the academics and encourage students to be an active part of the various co-scholastic activities that are organized at the school from time to time. To help us in doing so, different clubs have been formed in the school, which cater to diverse interests and activities. Mentioned below are the clubs active in the School :
Art Club @ TMS
‘’ Every Artist dips his brush in
his own nature into his pictures.”
Art education plays an important
role in developing student’s creativity and critical thinking it goes beyond
learning artistic techniques alone.
The Art activities at The Manglam
School, engage our children in precise hand movements stimulating their hand -
eye coordination, grip , strength and hand dexterity.
This fine art skill develops a
child’s creativity. The skills they learn often spill over into their academic
achievements making them a better creative learner.
We teach our students the art of
building confidence while participating in the art work. It helps children to
build self-confidence, observation for surroundings and feel an aesthetic sense
for nature. Our students from Nursery to XII
take pride in their art and drawing workshops. On daily basis the students
learn new techniques of using their art tools like paint brushes, mixing
portrait colours, clay models, using crayons and pencils for shading and free
hand sketching. The purpose of this fine art classes is achieved when our
children learn the basic colours of life through creativity and innovations all
painted on one canvas.

Best out of Waste
Manglam's know that making the best out of waste has been a part of human life since the early ages. It was the human creative mind that gave birth to this extraordinary idea of using unwanted material in a useful way. In today's world recycling has a very important place. There are a lot of things around that are labeled as a dump. But the irony is that most of the dump collected is useful for others if recycled. Teachers play a significant role in nurturing the value of environmental protection and conservation among students through creative craft activities like Best out of Waste.
Photography
Photography is an art which can be done in several ways to enhance the beauty and charm of the events. It must be accurate and perfectly done shot to capture the emotions and moments which cannot be expressed by words but can be felt by pictures and snaps, and the same is taught to the Manglam's with mirth.
